We bus from Creel to the Sierra Lodge and Waterfall and see a Quetzal (oh yes we did!)

We take the large bus from Creel to Sierra Lodge inside Copper Canyon.
Dropping our bags in our room we hike to the waterfall and take in it's majesty.
Walking back we chat with two young girls and then see a quetzal bird in the bushes.
The girls thought we were a little crazy how excited we were to see it.
We detour to a nearby village to look at the rock paintings then head back to the lodge
where we are greeted with a roaring fire nd old fashoined elegance .
Since we are the only people staying there, we are treated to a special dinner in the large diing room.
The staff serve greet us with a pitcher of very powerful Margaritas.
We enjoy a delicious supper and pleasant conversation into the night.
