We ferry to the mainland and relax in El Fuerte, then hop the train to Copper Canyon.

We drive up to La Paz, drop off our rental car and cruise around the city walking the oceanfront boardwalk.
The next day we board the ferry for the long voyage across to the mainland playing cards with other travellers.
We spend a night we'd like to forget in the port town and board a bus the next day for El Fuerte.
Lovely little town and we check into a lovely hotel, explore the scene, taking a kayak paddle down the river.
The next day we board the train into Copper Canyon.
